Clockwork Soldier in collaboration with D2 Motion is able to offer SLIM - a compact yet sophisticated robotic camera arm for your next production.

SLIM is a relatively new offering for us but is a tried and tested platform in the industry already, steadily growing a following amongst the top production houses, Directors and DOP’s.

The SLIM robot is powered by a completely unique software package that has been designed from the ground up in Australia specifically for film industry application. This bespoke system allows for camera movements with an incredible level of nuance. The intuitive interface means very complex moves can be programmed in minutes and then finessed with ease. Camera moves can be repeated, scaled and reversed at the touch of a few buttons. Integrated focus, iris, zoom control means always landing sharps, allowing the attention to be on creativity without the worry of nailing the shot every time. Having our software engineer in-house and on-set means we are able to constantly update the capability of the system, responding to real world situations and resulting in a film tool designed by and for film makers.
